In Wake of The Crashing Dawn

Bruce Testuya

Synopsis

Bruce Tetsuya is a Japanese-American director and photographer based between Denver & NYC. His work currently focuses on the narrative beauty of movement through the pairing of dance and cinematography. /// As a Japanese-American, I've often felt outspoken about the history of the Japanese-American incarceration camps in the 40s. All the works I've seen regarding the subject matter were documentary - this film was my way of tackling the matter in a new light, and from the perspective of 2020 America.
